Teaching Artist
In all of his classes, Travis strives to create an uplifting community. This is done by meeting students where they are at and catering his teaching to best connect with each individual. He believes artists of any kind do their best work when they feel uplifted and encouraged. Activities are impactful and always filled with fun!
This class is designed for anyone ready to explore the building blocks of performance in a fun and supportive environment. A perfect class for new or returning actors who want to get all the necessary tools they need in order to hit the stage! We will explore topics like motivation, connection, and character development. This is the perfect class to kickstart your acting career!
Acting Foundations
In this class, students will work on selected scenes, focusing on developing their performances through detailed scene analysis, character work, and emotional depth. This hands-on approach provides a well-rounded experience, as actors get to explore different facets of performance. Students will learn what it means to be a supportive scene partner through collaborating to make their best work. Students will leave with a deeper understanding of both acting and how to be an uplifting team member.
Scene Study
Travis specializes in creating curriculum that caters to specific groups. Whether it be working with individuals with disabilities or children of varying ages, Travis can put together a class series to engage the group, grow their skills and have a ton of fun in the process!
